Obituary for Andres "Andy" Valdez

Andres “Andy” Valdez passed away March 16, 2022.

Visitation: 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at The Link Event and Recreation Center, 6750 Baker Blvd, Richland Hills, TX 76118

Andy was born September 1, 1958, in Corpus Christi, TX. Andy grew up in Abilene, TX then moved Fort Worth in his adult years. Andy served in the Texas National Guard in 1979-1980 and had an honorable discharge. Andy worker numerous years in the oilfields in West Texas. He returned to Fort Worth and worked various jobs including Precast Concrete Manufacturers helping to build Globe Life Park, which he took much pride in. Andy was currently employed by Material Transport. Andy gave back to the community by volunteering at the food bank, which he enjoyed doing. Andy was a Christian and attended Lamb of God Church. Andy enjoyed spending times with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Andy is preceded in death by his parents Jose Valdez Sr. And Rosario Estrada, son Abren Valdez, sister Teresa Valdez, and great grandson Diego.

Andy is survived by his son, Tony Perez (Tamera) from Abilene, TX, daughters, Olga Perez Gill (Steven) from Tulsa, OK, Carrie Perez from Dallas, TX, DeAnn Smithling (Nick) from Beaumont, TX, Tina Kasalika from Tulsa, OK; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 11 brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
