Today our Dad called Mom home to him in Heaven. Barb was born on February 16th, 1953. On May 4th, 1974 she married Paul R. Nickell and together they raised three wonderful children Mike (Maggie) Strohl, Paul Jr. (Randy) Nickell, and Chad (Christy) Nickell. Barb loved spending time with her 5 grandkids Mitchell, Vinny, Adelyn, Alden and Avery. Barb worked at Whirlpool in Clyde, Ohio for 26 years before taking early retirement and moving to Texas. She is proceeded in death by her husband Paul in 2001, her father Irwin Cheifer, brothers Ralph Cheifer and Arthur Cheifer, both of California. Also surviving are her sisters Peggy Swartz of Toledo, Kathy (Daniel) Wupio of Sterling Heights, Michigan; Deborah (Jeffery) Cook of Bellvue and and Annette Kerr of Dana Point, California. Brothers

While Barb will be missed clearly by all who knew her, she would want
everyone to know she was prepared and eager to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ! To honor Barb’s wishes, she will be cremated at Church Angels in Fort
Worth, Texas. A memorial will be set up in her name with all donations going to
the grandkid’s college fund. In lieu of flowers please donate to Chad Nickell on Venmo @Chad-Nickell23. A private memorial for her family will be held sometime this summer.
