Obituary for Donald Keenan

Donald Keenan, a loving husband, father and friend, stepped into eternity on May 27th, 2022 at the age of 64 while surrounded by those that love him.

Donald is survived by; his wife, Patti Keenan; his child Brennan; his brother Edward Keenan and his wife Cheryl Keenan; step-children, Krystle Loeser and her husband Jonathan Loeser and their three girls Olivia, Lily and Harper Loeser, and Robert Cairy and his wife Samantha Cairy and their two children.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Caitlin Keenan; his brother, David Keenan; and his parents Raymond and Pauline Keenan.

Don was born in Pittsburgh on August 25, 1957 to Raymond Keenan and Pauline Boone. Don grew up in Pittsburgh and spent the majority of his life there. Don was a die hard Steelers fan and he would tell people his blood would run black and gold. Don loved the family farm in Pennsylvania and was a true fan of the great outdoors. Don felt most alive in the woods and the mountains. He moved to Texas when he met the love of his life Patti and enjoyed his life here with her. They had their beautiful son Brennan in 2004. Don took great pride and joy in his son. Don loved history and was a true history buff. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to great historical events and locations. In his most recent years, Don loved being a PopPop to his beautiful, God-given, grandchildren and loved serving his local church.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on June 11 at Oasis Community Worship Center 5612 Glenview Dr, Fort Worth, TX, 76117. Pastor Floyd Ellsworth will officiate.
