Liz Smith's sun rose on June 20, 1940 in Wendel, West Viginia, and her sun set on December 20, 2019 at 79 years of age in Cleburne, Texas surrounded by family.
She was the daughter of Roy and Flora Mayle (Moyers).
Liz was a soldier of the Salvation Army Church in Big Spring, Texas. She loved watching Joel Osteen and reading her Bible. She enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets and going to bingo. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Flora Mayle; siblings, Roy Vina, Winnie, Bud, Shirley, Ramona, Kenny, Linda, Butch, Billy, and Buster; and great-granddaughter, Deznique King.
Liz is survived by her loving husband whom she married June 25, 1961, Allan (Jim) Smith; sister, Adeline Bort and husband, Dave; brother, Doug Mayle and wife, Connie; daughters, Rita Hotelling and husband, Danny, and Linda Rodriguez and husband, Chris; son, Allan Lee Smith; grandchildren, James, Brooke, April, Miguel, Starla, Juan, Anastasia, Trevor, Casey, Quinton, Hannah, Martha, Ethan, and Tyler; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
