The Life Story of Francester Phillips Benford

In the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 17th day of October, 1952 God blessed Horace L. Phillips, Sr and Hattie L. Phillips, with a beautiful little girl (a third child) whom they named Francester Phillips. Fran was saved at an early age in Philadelphia in the church of The Garden of Prayer. Our parents moved from Philadelphia in 1969 as Fran completed her last year of High School at Dunbar High in Fort Worth Texas.

In 2002 a union was formed with Auderey Benford and Fran Phillips.

Fran was employed as Marketing Research Manager with Heakin Research for many years until her health declined. She spent her leisure time enjoying her 4 children and her 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

On the 8th day of March, 2020, Francester Benford, left this earthly life to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by both her parents, and her brother Horace L. Phillips, Jr who met her at the gates of Heaven.

Those who loved her and will cherish her memory forever are: her grandmother Curtis Akins and one uncle Riley Akins, her husband Auderey, children;Dante, Delano, Hattisha (Josh), and Darius, grandchildren; Terrick, D’Monte, Kelton, D.J., DanteJai, Ja’Nya, Kennedy, Mason, great grandchild; KJ, sisters; Linda, Chrissie and Nicole and her many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
