Obituary for Jesus Duran

FORT WORTH - Jesus Duran (Chuy) went to join his wife, Maria Gonzalez, on October 11, 2019.

Service: 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Church Angels Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park. Visit: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at Church Angels Funeral Home.

Jesus was born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico on June 25, 1957, and traveled to the U.S. in 1979 and Fort Worth has been his forever home. This is were he married his forever love and they raised four children together and started their business. He was a self contractor sole owner of Chuy's Painting for more than 30 years. He was know for being a jokester, romantic, a hard worker, dependable, and loving person.

He leaves behind his mother, Luz Borja Duran; sisters, Rosa, Guadalupe and Inez; children, Luz Maria Rangel (and her four children Marisol, Carlos, Diego [partner in crime], and Leonardo Rangel), Armando Figueroa and wife, Blanca Gonzalez (and their four children Daisy, Abby, Mia, and Amanda [his panda bear]), Vanessa Duran and husband, Brian Morales (and their two boys, Elvis Duran [The King] and Alexander Morales, Jesus Duran (and his four children Jacob, Xavier, Alyssa and Esteban); brothers-in-law that were like his brothers, Guadalupe, Gustavo, Alfonso, Martin, Joe and Jesus Gonzalez (The Twins) and their wives and children; sisters-in-law that were like his sisters, Janie, Dora, and Christina (Cunada Favorite) and their families; a large number of nieces and nephews; and employees and friends.
