Obituary for Jose H Nieto SR

Surrounded by his family...Jose H. Nieto died peacefully on November 4, 2019 at his home in Fort Worth at the age of 72 from the effects of Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on February 9, 1947 in Mathis, Texas to Anita and Quirino Nieto. He moved to Fort Worth in 1968 and worked at Tasty Bread Bakery for many years.

Throughout his life he was a committed father. His two sons were his life, and he worked tirelessly and sacrificed personally to make sure they were happy and had everything they needed growing up. As Jose grew older and disease took over his life, his sons were at his side to return the support and making sure he too was happy and had everything he needed till the day he died. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Sulema Alaniz. He is survived by one daughter from Papalote, Texas Mary Helen Martinez, two sons both from Fort Worth Jose Nieto Jr. and Steve Nieto. He has seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four brothers and five sisters.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all expressions of kindness and concerns. May God continue to bless you all.

Visitation to be held on Friday 11/08/19 from 6-8 PM. A prayer service will be conducted tomorrow at 12:00 noon here at Church Angels Funeral Home, with interment following at Laurel Land. The family wishes to invite everyone to return after Jose is laid to rest for an appreciation reception back at Church Angels Funeral Home.
