Kenneth Hoak, age 67, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021, after a battle with Covid-19.
Ken’s passion was fixing cars, and he loved helping people through it. He was a beloved teacher of
Career and Auto Technology at O.D. Wyatt High School and Northside High School in FWISD. He loved
his students, and loved to help them start their lives in the automotive field.
Ken’s other passion was Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is a past president of the Harley Owners
Group. He loved going to Sturgis, SD for the big rally each summer.
He was an RV enthusiast, and loved taking road trips with his family. He never passed up an opportunity
to go on a cruise.
Ken loved spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren.
Ken is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Hoak, daughters Mandy Holmes and Cindy Cox, son in
laws, Eddie Holmes and Gabriel Seibel. Beloved grandchildren Ruby Cox, Peyton Holmes, and Patrick
Holmes. He leaves behind cherished sister in laws Pat Makovy and Janet Clarida, brother in law Larry
Todd, and many nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by grandson Edward Holmes IV, and niece Jennifer Clarida.
A private service for immediate family only will be held at Church Angels Funeral Home 6301 Granbury
Road Fort Worth, TX. 76133 on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make a
