Obituary for Larry Warren Holder

Larry Warren Holder

Larry Warren Holder “Grumps,” 67, of Burleson, passed peacefully away Monday, October 31, 2022.
Larry was the last child born on March 28, 1955, to J.W. Holder and Ethel “Christeen” Bibby in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Larry never met a stranger. He enjoyed being around people and would do anything to help people without anything in return. He was very stubborn and liked to give people a hard time with a grin, that's why he was "Grumps." He enjoyed watching and attending races, playing music trivia, and telling old stories. He lived all around the DFW area. He had been dealing with health issues for years and spent the last few at Burleson Nursing Home. He loved seeing his family, especially his grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to a local nursing home, spend a day with someone who doesn't have a family. Also, you can donate to the Community Hospice in Burleson.

Larry was preceded in death by parents J.W. Holder and Ethel "Christeen" Hamilton, sister Wanda Janet Kepley, brothers Douglas Weldon Holder, Edison "Eddie" Wayne Holder, and Riley "Dub" Wood Holder.
Survivors include daughter Jaclyn, her husband Chad, sons James Holder and Nolan Schnemman, grandsons Ian Holder, Brayden Reaves, and James Holder Jr. Grandaughters Kylee Holder, Brynleigh Stevens, Breanna Holder, and Hazeleigh Stevens. Also, many cousins, adopted family members and many friends.
