Mark Heath Goodell was born on December 26th, 1953 to Richard and Martha Goodell. He went to be with our lord on June 13th, 2022 at 4:15am. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, sadly losing his battle to cancer.

Mark loved life. He was a kind and generous person. If you needed anything he would try his best to help you. His greatest passion was Golf. He would play in the heat, cold, even rain. When it was getting time for football, he would start getting his lineup ready for Fantasy football. He loved his history and discovery channels. Mark loved his grandchildren. He always would be the first to give them their first bite of chocolate ice cream. Of course, that made him their favorite papaw.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Richard Alba Goodell, mother Martha Boyd Goodell, Brothers Kent Goodell, and Dan Goodell.

Mark is survived by: his wife, Janice Goodell; Son, Nicholas Goodell; Twin-Sister, Molly Murrell; Sister in law Lynn Dickerson; Step-Children: Shonett Juarez and husband Sonny, Chandra Trujillo, Rusty Jones and Wife Kyndal; Cousins: Susie and Jane Ann Spalding, Sally Kennedy; Nephew: RC Goodell and Wife Ashley, Nephew: Peyton Goodell; Niece: Paige Goodell. Grandchildren: Alex Juarez, Ava Juarez, Lena Trujillo, Hannah Trujillo, Kason Jones, Harper Jones, and new baby on the way (don't know the gender yet!) and all his friends at Simtek, Inc.
