Obituary for Otto R. Perryman

Otto R. Perryman III was born in Kilgore, Texas on Feb. 15, 1954. Otto was at home when he took his last breath on Earth, surrounded by his loving wife, Johnnie and their two daughters, Latricia and Tammy; he took his first breath with God in Heaven on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

Otto enjoyed spending time with family and watching documentaries. He loved Orange Slices and Jelly Bellies. He will be remembered for his laughter after a good prank, his caring heart to help others, and for his unfailing work ethic for Sovereign Pharmaceutical in Fort Worth for over 20 years until the time of his last hospitalization.

He enjoyed his online indulgence of video poker, slot machines and puzzles. His favorite cookie was "Cinnamon Sugar Snickerdoodles" and we can't leave out his collection of minions - his two loyal companions Chewy and Django would daily run excitedly to the door to greet Otto every day when they heard his truck pull up. They would follow him around and worshiped him. Chewy would only allow Otto to hold him.

Otto was a devoted son and looked forward to calling his mother every Sunday just to make sure she was okay. He was continuously putting others before himself. Whether you were family or a friend, he would always ask how your day was or how your life was going.

Otto suffered from COPD for 20 years and was on oxygen for 14 years. He valiantly fought a hard fight and made the decision to go home, but not before asking Johnnie to let him go.

Otto was preceded in death by his father, Otto Perryman Jr. and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Perryman; daughters, Latricia Arnold of Arlington and Tammy Burton of Fort Worth; son, David Stout of Chandler; mother, Juanita Quillen of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Jayne Scott of Tulsa, Okla. and Susan Chester of Taos, N.M.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life is pending.
