It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Rosemary Reina-Montanye. (74) She went to be with the lord on April 9, 2022. Patricia passed away peacefully, with her loved ones nearby.


Patricia was born on May 2, 1947 to Joseph Reina and Josephine(Joan) Tesoreiro-Reina, in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, Patricia worked for Robert Hall in the bustling stock market. Soon after she met William Montanye, they married, and had two sons and two daughters together.


Patricia spent the majority of her life caring for her children as a stay at home mom and then worked briefly in child care. She is remembered as a devoted mother, wife, and nana. Patricia loved music and dancing. She was the most kind hearted and loving person and will be dearly missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.


Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Joesph and Josephine Reina, many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, including her loving Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Tom Sardo. Also by her former husband William Montanye.


She is survived by her children, son William Montanye Jr., son Daniel Montanye and wife Kim, daughter Renee Mauldin and husband Luke, and daughter Sheree Montanye; Grandchildren Dani Lyn Montanye along with Ethan and Wyatt Mauldin; her brother Salvatore Reina and wife Arlene; nieces Alicia Paonessa and Christine Reina; and her cousin Connie Sardo and husband Ray Burns.


Patricia’s Memorial Service will be held at the following location and time:
May 14, 2022 from 3:00- 5:00pm.
