Obituary for Rev John C Roberts

Rev. John C Roberts, A Mighty Man of man of Valor has went to his eternal home in Heaven….
He was a licensed minister with the Pentecostal Church of God for over 30 years. But has been ordained for over 25 years, he was honored to receive his 25 years pin June 2019 at the Bi- Annual convention in Irving, Texas.
He was a former PC/G world missionary to Mexico and Native American Indian Missionary in the USA. He left this life on Monday, February 8th, 2021. John kept the faith, he fought the good fight, he finished his course, he finished his race! John was born on March 14th, 1944 in Eastland County, Midland, Texas. He was the son of the late Emler Morris and Minnie Cloud Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Donna R Roberts, 1 son and 6 daughters- Leon and wife Annelise Leopard, Kathy and husband Stanley Shifted, Nancy and husband Rick Ford, Sandy and husband Mike Gregory, Lola and husband Daryl O’Neal, Christa and husband Donnie Clemons, and Jennifer and husband Matt Sweeney, 19 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, 5 great- great- grandchildren, 1 brother Lee Roberts and sister Barbara Roberts and other relatives and friends. John was very proud to serve his country by serving in the USA Army during the Vietnam era. He dedicated his life to God and spreading the Jesus Christ around the world. He was a loving husband, amazing father, fantastic grandfather, awesome pop, and very honorable man. He will be missed by all who knew him!
