Obituary for Ruby L Arms (Fuse)

HER
When I look at her hands, I see the weather worn strength it took to care for her family.
When I look into her eyes, I see the love that she has for her family.

When I look at her face, I see the lines of worry that she had when her children were sick and the look of happiness when all was well.
When I look at her smile, I see everything that kept me going throughout my life, never showing weakness.
When I look at her, I see love, I see caring, I see patience, I see strength, I see wisdom.
When I look at her, I see a mother who gives us unconditional love, no matter what we do.
When I look at her, I see a mother who instilled faith in us to believe in God.
When I look at her, I see a mother whom God blessed me with.
When I look at her, I see a mother, your mother, our mother, my mother. I see HER!

My Grandmother
from Jodi Arms
In my Rose Garden of memories, I see you standing there An angel in disguise who taught me how to care
I long to hear your voice for real, not in my dreams. I am missing you much these days, how empty my world seems
People say time heals all wounds, that someday the pain will subside. But grandma I can tell you I think they must have lied
The emptiness I am feeling now is strong and I am weak. These days go by without you, so dreary and so bleak. In the Rose Garden of memories, I know you’ll always be, for though you’re gone from this mortal world, in my heart you’ll always be.
