Obituary for Thomas Emanuel "Rocky" Larocco

On July 9, 2022 my precious husband Thomas Emanuel LaRocco known to many as Rocky went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus.
A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at a future date & time.

Tom was born to Joe and Gladys LaRocco a bouncing bundle of joy on September 30, 1945, in Jacksonville Florida. His father Joe served in the military and was a seasoned artist, His loving mother Gladys was an admired school teacher assistant homemaker, mother, & Grandmother.

Tom and his parents lived in Jacksonville Florida for some time then moved to Houston Texas where he attended and graduated from Spring Branch Highschool. He then applied and attended the University of North Texas in Denton, earning a Bachelors' degree in the Fine Arts, he taught PE education and gymnastics while attending college. He also worked as a mechanic for Volkswagon and upon graduation he heard they were hiring at Vought Aircraft he applied an spent the next 32 years as a Machinist there until 2006. Tom loved working with his hands! He also loved playing table games and computer word games were his favorite.
He was a loving husband and father!
He is survived by his wife Micki LaRocco.
A only son Christopher LaRocco, two daughters Ashley & husband Keith Holloway, Cyndi & husband Lucas Moore.
Five Grandchildren Jaiden & Connor Holloway, & Isabel, Maya, and Chloe Moore they all call him Papa Rocky!
A sister Angela Jenkins known as " Moochi KaPoofa " to some.... a brother David LaRocco, One niece Erin and husband Luca Scordari, Two nephews Paul Jenkins and Dillion LaRocco.
Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
I'm positive our little Chihuahua Chachi and Sheperd Happy Dog excitingly greeted him at the pearly gates!
You said I LOVE YOU MICKI and touched the side of my face and said you were going home...... you knew.......
My heart hurting so.. your sweet smile and everyday asking me,
" Babe you doing ok" Ill miss everyday, I love you so much......... I will remember on as you taught me, to never ever give up and hold on to the LORD for HE will carry me always along with your love!
I know you are safely home and I don't have to worry bout you driving just walking the streets of Gold ...........
